Analysis Of A Situation - Death Sentence

Situation:
1.  Some organisation did a crime more than 20 yrs ago.
2.  A Special court has been assigned to enquire the crime and punish the guilty.
3.  Special court did the investigation and gave the punishment to many belonging to the organisation that committed the crime which includes 26 death sentences.
4.  All the Twenty-Six appealed to the Supreme Court and the Supreme Court reduced the number to four.
5.  These four gave a mercy plea request to the Governor in 1999 and the Governor rejected the plea within 10 days.
6.  After the Governor’s rejection, they sent the request to The President.
7.  One among the four sentenced is a lady and she has been given mercy with her death sentence turned to life-imprisonment. It is said that this mercy was given after the recommendation of the wife of the person assassinated as part of the crime.
8.  After 11 years one fine day, the mercy pleas of the remaining three have been rejected by the president. And the three have to be hung in 10 days.

ANALYSIS
1.       The Crime:
Crime is an assassination of a Prime-Minister of world’s largest democracy (by population) and hundreds of other people. #TERRORIST ATTACK. This incident has definitely affected hearts of most of the people in the nation. Majority of the people in the nation wished this particular person will help them lead a good life and they elected him as the PM. All those dreams have been shattered by this bomb blast.
2.       THE SPECIAL COURT:
I’d rather say it as the so-called special court. A court has been solely arranged to investigate this particular case. They did investigate and finally gave judgement which sentenced 26 people to be hung. #DEATH SENTENCE. They will be hung to death. If 26 people are given death sentence how deeply and how carefully they would have investigated the case!!?? Moreover the court which investigated the case is a special court. That is the reason because of which the judgement cannot be reviewed by the High-Court (This rule is assuming that the judgement by the special court will be perfect without flaws). But the judgement can be challenged in the Supreme Court. (Probably they would have assumed that the judgement cannot be 100% flawless). The SC investigated the case and reduced the number of 26 death sentences to 4!!! (This proves the judgement of the special court only 15.38% correct). Death sentence is something which is going to kill the person. How can a special court be so very careless in giving death? This means that 22 people would have been killed unnecessarily. How fair is that!!??
With all due respect to the honourable Supreme Court and it’s decision, what is the proof that this decision could be fool-proof? May be if there is another higher level of authority of judgement, it is still possible that this 4 could have been reduced to 2 or 1.
[Disclaimer: I am not sure if this is contempt of court. If so someone pls advice, I will remove the unnecessary points]
3.       MERCY APPEAL IN GENERAL:
Why does this particular step exist even after Supreme Court’s decision? It is said that President is the first citizen of the nation. So doesn’t the contempt of court law apply to The President? If so many courts have analysed the case and has given the judgement as death, they have done something so bad that they deserve to be killed. Then I don’t know what is there in considering their mercy? OK! Let it be like they have realized their mistake and are asking for mercy. In that case, Mercy has to be given to all the persons who have asked for it. But NO is the answer for this. Why partiality of the giving mercy?
4.       MERCY APPEAL IN THIS PARTICULAR SITUATION:
Eleven years! Three different persons in the chair! One pending job! Five Reminders! NIL answers! With due respect to Dr.Abdul Kalam, He has served 5 full years has the President and this file would have been lying in his desk for all the five years. He is undoubtedly one of the best and the most deserving person to be in that chair. How can even he not understand that this was also one of his duties? All three responsible should give proper explanation for what has caused this huge delay in rejecting these three pleas.

CONCLUSION:
These 3 people have been waiting in the jail to be hung for 21 years! All three have been proved to be having involved in the assassination of one great leader and numerous other innocent people.  Then according to me they should have been hung right away. Now after 21 years, hanging them doesn’t make any sense and as the situation is in this part of the country, they would only be considered as heroes if they are hung now. Apart from them becoming heroes, few others would be benefited, the political parties trying to make use of the situation maximum to their benefit and some individuals who love to get into controversies.

Thanks a lot for reading. Waiting for your feedback.

Happy Birthday UsefuLLshare!!

I was just going thru a good blog which one of my friend suggested.. It was really a nice one.. had a lot of info to gain. as i was browsing thru the topics in that. i found that the blogger has started blogging since 2005 august. So he has completed five years of blogging. I just came back to my blog, how old am i really in this world.. a small surprise.. even i have started blogging on the August.. but just 4 years after his..!! So, this is my first anniversary. Have not done much but there is something to celebrate. At this point of time, I really like to thank all the readers of my blog. If i find something interesting anywhere, I always liked to share it with others. and this is one year of sharing going on.. some would have found this blog boring, some would have found it interesting or for someone, it might be just a time pass. but for me, it has always been a proud property in the web space. I also thank all the readers and followers and most importantly those who isnpired me to be a blogger, fellow bloggers.

And also many people have given their advices and opinions about this blog. I have never ignored anything. if it is possible, i ve always followed it. I always wanted to write a lot over here! But it hardly happened. Many say that i am a very lazy fellow. but according to me, I am the laziest person. But my craze for this blog has always tried to kill that laziness in me and has also succeeded quite a few times. I have heard that always the most precious gifts are always free.. as the quote says, I should also thank Blogger for giving me this space for me. And also most of this writing has been the result of my loneliness which I started to like. And in Times of India, this monday, I read an article about what all is good to do in every day of a week. and I saw that it is very good to post something in your blog on thursday as I did today. I also thank my generous office for letting me free enough to post this and also for not blocking blogger. Will be back soon for you readers.. and I d like to say a few words in my mother tongue which i will hereafter say in my every success, 'எல்லா புகழும் இறைவனுக்கே'..
A big thanks again..

Warm Birthday Wishes!

Whenever any of my friends ask me, whose fan are u? I proudly replied Vijay a couple of years back. That was not very bad situation then. But now if I say so, I will get a bad reaction from that side. After continuous flops, he has invited a lot of criticisms. First and foremost is that he is not changing his acting style and not taking challenging roles. He did change the style. In Sachin, He came as a college student with a fully love based story line. It was really good movie. Who accepted? And leave that. In ghilli, Thirumalai, Pokkiri, Thirupaatchi… He did the same care-free play-boy type roles. But those were really good hits.

And next one is , He is copying from other industries. Accepted! But what is the problem? He is doing that correctly. Pokkiri is an exact Xerox copy of a Telugu movie. Each and every frame has been copied. But that finally turned out to be a blockbuster. And there are actors who could not even do these correctly.
Vijay has failed for sure in the recent times. He has failed in selecting the correct scripts. For that we should not hate the person. Everyone fails at one point or the other. Vijay himself has said in Thirumalai, ‘ Life is just like a Circle, Those who win today has to lose one day and those who lose today will win one day.’
I would also like to comment over the theatre owners’ reaction after these flops. Since Vijay has been giving continuous flops, they are demanding him to pay them back for the losses created. They should remember that they are just doing business and they have to accept both profits and losses. This is like a farmer demanding a monsoon which has failed to come that year to pay back for his losses. That monsoon has been giving water for his crops for these many years. Did they pay Vijay for the profits they acquired? Now they are saying that they will not release the future movies of him. They said the same thing even after vettaikaran. But when sura came, what happened? In pondy there are only 5 screens and Sura got released in the 4 best screens. Why is this happening? I can’t understand this fact. Can any anti-Vijay fan give explanation for this? After Rajini, Vijay has the grandest opening that too after so many flops.
All the more, he is such a nice person. So simple! Unlike all other actors who will be only inside caravan other than for the shots, Vijay loves to mingle with the people around the shooting spots when he is not in shoot.! Also his generous act of social service should be appreciated.
            This is his Birthday!
I wish him a happy birthday and also hope this year turns out as a good year for him. He has that capacity to fight back all the barriers and regain his fame..! He will prove that he is the Next Super Star.
I proudly say, “I am a fan of Vijay sir

A Day With a Stupid..!!

Confused with the topic and the picture posted? The story put here is about me on a fruitful Friday. the sign board put here matches my stupidity and moreover a post without a image will not be much appreciated la..! The second paragraph contains the Crum of the story. I said that for people who are really too busy to read the entire post.

That was a Friday. Yes the day for which all employees wait 6 days a week...: p.. And I am no exception. The day started in a dull way. Got up leisurely at 10 and getting ready slowly taking my time in the bath room. My room-mate Harish will not wake up until I enter the bath room and daily once I enter the bathroom, he ll wake up and start calling out.  Somehow I managed to get ready and started to office. On the way to the bus stand, there is a hotel, the hotel that serves more than a thousand of bachelors and working couples in our area. I rushed in there to take my breakfast which is just 2 Idlis. Pls don’t misunderstand that I am on diet. That is the only dish we will be getting there in a quick time. I completed my breakfast of 2 idlis completely hidden inside a plate of Sāmbhar in a quick time and I rushed to the bus stop.  I was waiting for my bus for a couple of minutes. BMTC (Bangalore Transport) is really brilliant knowing that almost all IT companies are in that route they will run only Volvos in that route. But that will be very frequent and all buses will be jam packed. Will wait there skipping a two or three busses only to get into the fourth one which is nothing better. Will be standing in the bus where only one of my feet will be on ground. In Bangalore traffic, the bus will take 30 minutes just to travel 7 KM. somehow reached the office before 12 praying that my manager should not have reached by then. When I reached my place, I was happy that my prayer has been answered but not fully! There was my furious team-mate staring at me. I humbly said Good Morning. There was hardly a smile on his face when he responded that it is already afternoon sir. My mind was quickly searching for some reason… what the Heck! I have used up all reasons already. Anyway there was nothing to fear about and just told him that it was Friday and I slept a bit long. There was a grin on his face saying ‘At last you said the truth today. Ok go and start chatting’. He told and he went busy in chatting. There came the first shock of the day. I logged in to my system only to find that my network port has been disabled and there is no network connection. My only way is to ask him, which I did hoping that he might give me some solution. But got only solutions like replug your LAN cable, restart your system, which I already did and are useless. He didn’t show any care. I returned to my desk and was planning to call up IT helpdesk. It was then he came to me and asked with care. I was wondering what happened to him suddenly. Later came to know that, he was not able to open Gtalk suddenly. Later in the day everything got fine with the help of IT people and the remaining day @ office went as usual with Lunch, Carom after that and roaming around the campus and some calls from manager, getting few tasks from the other team mate and obviously completing them.
This weekend all from Pondy have decided to go to home and have booked tickets in KSRTC. I have booked ticket in 10:00 PM bus. Arun and Mani are the other two guys from pondy. Arun has booked in 9:30 bus and Mani is in 10:00 bus. I called up Arun so that I could get a lift in his bike to home from where we could leave to the bus stand together. Mani planned to go to bus stand directly from office. Arun, whose full time office work is to read yahoo news daily and then spread them to everyone in the later part of the day?  But it was his bad luck that on that particular day, he was filled with work and he was not able to come out till 7:30. He was really worried since his bus was at 9:30. With high speed rash driving we reached our house by 7:45. We had a quick fresh-up and a stream of perfume so that our neighbors in bus are not feeling uncomfortable. But most people don’t mind for that. We started from house at 8:00. I was sure that we will reach the bus stand before 9:30. But he didn’t have his dinner too. By God’s grace or the blind luck in many signals, we made it to the bus stand 9:15 itself. We had a quick dinner and started towards bus. I was very much worried then since my bus is only @10 and I have to wait there till then alone. Then I thought of Mani and called him. He told that he will reach the bus stand in another 10 minutes. So I bid good bye to arun so that I will roam in Big Bazaar which is nearby. But he insisted that I should give him company till his bus. We searched for a while and then found a Pondicherry bus standing there. When enquired, they said that it was 10 PM bus and our search continued and we found the 9:30 bus soon after that. He showed the ticket to the checker and went in. I cursed him again for leaving me alone and going in as soon as he got the bus. It was then. I found one of my school friends who work in Bangalore. We meet every time in that bus stand when starting to pondy. And we meet only then. He was standing there along with a girl. When I went near them, I came to know that he was scolding that poor girl for some small mistake she did. He has been searching for her for 30 minutes. For that he was continuously scolding her for more than 30 minutes. They were both in that same bus. Probably that poor girl would have got more from him inside. But he gave it a break giving a quick introduction of me to her. She said her name and her college. From that I was able to recognize her as a good friend to one of my close friend and our conversations continued. Meantime the conductor and driver of the bus was really restless waiting for some passenger who has not turned up still. She offered me some cookies which I really like very much. But I respectfully denied the offer once. Then I understood from the speed she took it back that I have really missed a cookie. It has already been 9:45 and still their bus has not started. When I asked them, they said that someone has not turned up still. But I guessed the driver lost the patience and went inside his cabin. These two bid bye to me and they two got into the bus. I didn’t mind to see my ticket till then. I just took it out from my bag and went to the 10PM bus checker. I handed him the ticket. After a while he saw me with a shock in his face as if I gave him his firing order. But the matter he told me after that transferred that shock to me. It was then that the ticket I have booked is actually for 9:30 bus and not 10PM bus. I just snatched the ticket from his hand and ran towards that bus. Thank God! The bus had just moved a little. I just went in front of it and stopped the bus. The conductor came out from the bus with two really big eyes on his small narrow face and he started to literally scold me. Fact is that I didn’t understand a bit of what he scolded except for the fact that 35 passengers have been waiting for me more than 30 minutes. Then I realized that he didn’t notice me standing right in front of the bus for the past 45 minutes. He checked my ticket and allowed me in. I had a warm welcome with an angry stare over almost 30 people. My friend and his colleague were sitting there and they scolded me. But I didn’t dare stand there since others too might join with them. IT was then that I found arun. He gave a surprise or shocking welcome whatever it is. We adjusted with the seats so that arun sits next to me. Arun could not control his laughter for a long time. Well, what else will he do? Even I was laughing thinking of my stupidity.

Well a big thanks for the people who gave their time to read about this stupid. Comments appreciated!

Please Don't Share

Hey, how are u ppl. The title is a bit weird right? that too in a blog opened for sharing? yup! this is true.. I had a chance of seeing this article somewhere and jus thought it was really very important to be shared. This is about the things which you are not supposed to share with your colleagues at your work place. The explanation given is quite interesting and quite true too. Its really worth a reading.

It's happened to everyone before. The constant flow of words that just keep coming, long after you've made your point (if there ever was one) and even longer after people stopped caring. The kind of gibberish that just won't stop unless someone else starts talking. The type of chatter that inevitably ends with you wishing you'd put a sock in it. Yes, verbal diarrhea is never a good thing -- but it can be worse in some places more than others.  Like the workplace. There are certain things co-workers need not know about each other -- your baby-making plans and stomach issues, for example -- but some folks just can't seem to keep their mouths shut. Some people talk to hear the sound of their own voice; others share because they don't really have a life and, by revealing details you'd rather not know, they create the illusion of one, says Linda Lopeke, a career advancement expert and creator of SmartStart Virtual Mentoring Programs. "Then there is the person who believes gossip, even about them, creates instant emotional intimacy. It doesn't." Walk the line Because people spend more time at the office with co-workers than anywhere (or anyone) else, some workers have trouble drawing the line between business and friendship, says Susan Solovic, co-founder and CEO of SBTV.com, and author of three books, including "Reinvent Your Career: Attain the Success You Desire and Deserve."
"It's a social environment as well as a work environment. However, you must remember while you can be friendly and develop a good rapport, business is business and friendship is friendship." Most workers don't realize that what they say has as much impact on their professional images as what they wear, Lopeke says. People who say too much, about themselves or others, can be seen as incompetent, unproductive and unworthy of professional development. To avoid your next case of verbal diarrhea, here are 13 things to never share or discuss with your co-workers.

1. Salary information
What you earn is between you and Human Resources, Solovic says. Disclosure indicates you aren't capable of keeping a confidence.
2. Medical history
"Nobody really cares about your aches and pains, your latest operation, your infertility woes or the contents of your medicine cabinet," Lopeke says. To your employer, your constant medical issues make you seem like an expensive, high-risk employee.
3. Gossip
Whomever you're gossiping with will undoubtedly tell others what you said, Solovic says. Plus, if a co-worker is gossiping with you, most likely he or she will gossip about you.
4. Work complaints
Constant complaints about your workload, stress levels or the company will quickly make you the kind of person who never gets invited to lunch, Solovic warns. If you don't agree with company policies and procedures, address it through official channels or move on.
5. Cost of purchases
The spirit of keeping up with the Joneses is alive and well in the workplace, Lopeke says, but you don't want others speculating on the lifestyle you're living -- or if you're living beyond your salary bracket.
6. Intimate details
Don't share intimate details about your personal life. Co-workers can and will use the information against you, Solovic says.
7. Politics or religion
"People have strong, passionate views on both topics," Solovic says. You may alienate a co-worker or be viewed negatively in a way that could impact your career.
8. Lifestyle changes
Breakups, divorces and baby-making plans should be shared only if there is a need to know, Lopeke says. Otherwise, others will speak for your capabilities, desires and limitations on availability, whether there is any truth to their assumptions or not.
9. Blogs or social networking profile
What you say in a social networking community or in your personal blog may be even more damaging than what you say in person, Solovic warns. "Comments online can be seen by multiple eyes. An outburst of anger when you are having a bad day ... can blow up in your face."
10. Negative views of colleagues
If you don't agree with a co-worker's lifestyle, wardrobe or professional abilities, confront that person privately or keep it to yourself, Lopeke says. The workplace is not the venue for controversy.
11. Hangovers and wild weekends
It's perfectly fine to have fun during the weekend, but don't talk about your wild adventures on Monday, Solovic advises. That information can make you look unprofessional and unreliable.
12. Personal problems and relationships -- in and out of the office
"Failed marriages and volatile romances spell instability to an employer," Lopeke says. Office romances lead to gossip and broken hearts, so it's best to steer clear. "The safest way to play is to follow the rule, 'Never get your honey where you get your money.'"
13. Off-color or racially charged comments
You can assume your co-worker wouldn't be offended or would think something is funny, but you might be wrong, Solovic says. Never take that risk. Furthermore, even if you know for certain your colleague wouldn't mind your comment, don't talk about it at work. Others can easily overhear.

Well is that true? I read the whole article, only to realise that i am doing most of them. now i have to change or atleast try. You too can try to follow these rules. These might not be good.. but really they are not bad.! huh!! signing of now. will be back with some other piece of information.

Regards,
Rajasekaran.R
